Managing members across multiple locations just got easier! When searching for members using our global or advanced search tools, you may land on a member account from a different location than the one you’re currently logged into. Previously, you couldn’t make edits without manually switching locations.
Now, with our new Cross-Location Switch feature, you can instantly jump to the correct location by clicking the swap icon next to the CROSS LOCATION label — no need to start over or lose your place. It’s a faster, smoother way to manage member accounts across all your gyms.
Science Corner
Are your members’ double-jointed?
Being double jointed, known medically as”joint hyper-mobility,” is more than a party trick. People with this condition tend to have looser ligaments, making them more prone to balance difficulties, joint instability, and joint pain. For your members with stretchy ligaments, here are few suggestions from UCLA Health:
Strength train with light weights or resistance bands to build muscle strength and improve stability
Engage in low impact, aerobic activities such as walking, swimming or cycling.
Stay away from yoga — overstretched muscles can destabilize joints.
And — if there’s pain — urge your client to see a doctor. Hypermobility is associated with certain genetic conditions and can be a symptom of something more serious. Read on for details.
