You can simplify employee management with User Roles โ
Ready to grow locations, but need help defining employee duties? Our newest software feature, User Roles, provides a streamlined set of responsibilities for seven specific employee positions. Compare roles to review permissions or call us for a customized role. These preset staff permissions limit unauthorized access to your fitness club’s data while establishing high-level owner/manager control. How endurance exercise and strength training might protect certain organs against disease โ
We all know regular exercise is good for us, but scientists in this NIH-funded study by MoTrPAC are delving into how it can actually change gene activity within certain organs. Published in the May 2, 2024 edition of Nature, researchers identified thousands of genes tied to human disease that were affected by endurance exercise.
This preliminary research (based on male and female rat studies, as well as human study samples) may lead to more personalized exercise recommendations. As well, scientists predict such findings may result in the development of customized drug therapies for individuals who cannot exercise. Human trials are expected in the next few years.
Justin Kirkland’s company doubled its footprint in fewer than four years. His team quickly added four additional locations after initially purchasing a trifecta of Las Vegas Club Pilates in 2019. They grew to 90 employees by 2023. It was during this rush to expand that he discovered the critical differences between operating three locations and running seven. His findings? To grow exponentially, owners must anticipate and stay ahead of future needs in terms of team members, processes, and automation.
