Try breath work for a quick heart fix.
Research show “just five minutes of deep breathing is effective at reducing anxiety, respiratory rate, heart rate, and HRV.”
Here are two effective breathing methods:
1. Cyclic sighing – Two quick inhales through the nose followed by one long exhale.
2. Box breathing – Hold your breath and exhale your breath for same length of time. For example, breathe in for a four second’s hold, breathe out for a four second’s exhale.
